We are hereby to update you the situation for the incident that would directly affect the space situation and ocean freight / air freight level in the market.

USA Government have finalized the Import Duty Barrier for importing from China with 14 categories and 9 especially EV parts related shipments around 4 time from the current tariff, it would effective within 2024 and later on by 2026, medical equipment and semiconductor products will be increased in importing tariff as well. Europe would also considering to increase tax for importing from China and likely to have the barrier to balance the demand and supply within European countries in the short period of time.

As this situation would definitely affects the situation for space to USA and Europe, it would be very tight due to China is likely to ship all of their specified to import tariff increased products, until the effective date for new import tariff (the date have not set), the Chinese shippers are willing to pay (or forced to pay) premium rates to get the space to ship their containers to arrive by the current import tariff which would make the supply in the market (shipping lines), shifts the space allocation to China for exporting.
